Sumatra, part of the Indonesian Archipelago is the 5th largest island in the world after Australia, Greenland, New Guinea and Borneo, with a land mass of 473,481km2. With a population of over 40 million people, it is made up of many different ethnic tribes speaking 52 different languages including Indonesian, Achenese, Toba Batak, KaroBatak, Melayu and Minangkabau amongst the many. There are many things to see and do traveling around Sumatra. Jungle trekking, surfing, snorkeling and diving, climbing mountains and volcanoes, whitewater rafting, fishing in the ocean, river or lakes and a huge selection of flora and fauna to see. The terrain on Sumatra is mostly mountainous and is a paradise for the adventure traveler.

Arrive at Polonia airport Medan, meeting service by our staff. Medan short Medan sight seeing city tour to see the old palace of Sultan Deli ; Old grand mosque ; and the old chinese temple. Depart for Lake Toba via plantations road and Tebing Tinggi. Enroute stop at palm oil ; rubber ; cacao plantations. Arriving at Parapat, transferred to Samosir island by boat. Check in to hotel and free at leisure (D)
D.2 SAMOSIR ISLAND TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel. Samosir island tour visiting Tomok at Batak Toba village where we could see the old tomb of king Sidabutar. Then proceed to Ambarita to see the community of Batak tribe in ancient time. Visiting the native village of Batak Toba at Simanindo to witness the folk dance performance with its traditional original traditional house. Late afternoon return back to the hotel at Samosir island and free at leisure (B,L,D)D.3 SAMOSIR - BERASTAGI
Breakfast at the hotel. Leaving for Berastagi highland along the eastern side of Lake Toba. Enroute visiting Pematang Purba to see the ancient long house of Batak Simalungun’s king ; Then enjoying the panorama of the northern tip of Lake Toba and Sipiso-piso waterfall ; The original community of Batak Karo Lingga village with its Batak Karo’s traditional house. Afternoon arriving at Berastagi then visiting the fruit market. Check in to hotel at Berastagi and free at leisure (B,L,D)D.4 BERASTAGI - AIRPORT

Breakfast at the hotel. Leaving for Medan. Arriving in Medan short Medan sigh seeing city tour to see the old palace of Sultan Deli ; Old grand mosque ; and the old chinese temple. Proceed to Bohorok to the rehabilitation center of orang utan in the foot of Mount Leuser, national park. Arriving at Bukit Lawang trekking in to the forest crossing the river of Bohorok. Visiting the feeding station to see the orang utans are fed during the feeding hours. Late afternoon departing back for Medan. After arriving in Medan, check in to hotel and free at leisure (B,L,D)
