The Tour starts in the morning at Batubulan where you will watch the spectacular Barong Dance. Barong is the most famous symbol of the Balinese culture. The Barong is a mystical character that stands for good power, whereas Rangda, the queen of witches, is the evil. Balinese people believe that good and evil exist next to each other. For that reason when the two characters fight in the following story, there will be no winner in the end. Highlight of this plot are the followers of Barong who hurt themselves with a Kris without blooding. This Balinese dance probably derives from Indian epics. Next stop will be the magnificent view of Mount and Lake Batur with the smokeyBatur volcano in the back ground. The volcano is located in north east Bali and is one of the most impressive calderas in the whole world.

Visit the famous cliff hanging temple at Uluwatu with a spectacular view over the ocean. There you will be surrounded by lots of crazy evil monkeys who grab everything they can see and take. Please beware if you travel to this place. Close to the temple are a number of great beaches such a Dreamland and Padang Padang Beach. In the afternoon we are heading to the temple in the sea Tanah Lot where you can see a magnificent sunset. The temple sanctuary at Tanah Lot is built on the rock which is surrounded by the sea at high tide and by ebb tide reachable in a few minute walk since it is just 20 metres away from the coastal lip.

Visit to Besakih temple, the most important Hindu sanctuary in Indonesia and known as “mother temple of Bali” of all temples in Bali. The temple was probably built in the 8^thcentury and lies around 950 metreson the southwestern slopes of the great Mount Agung, a still active volcano. Before we arrive at Pacung, a highland with very cool temperatures with a great view of rice terraces and the mountain, we will pass through the magnificent and immense rice terraces Jatiluwih and Batukaru mountain region.

Visit to Bali Bird Park or Taman Burung. A fascinating, unique world of the largest and finest collection of exotic Indonesian birds, as well as birds from Africa and South America. This park was built in 1995 on a former, not used rice field. Witness almost 1000 rare and colourfulbirds within two hectare of Balinese landscape. Discover also the amazing display of flora with more than 2000 tropical plants and beautiful butterflies. We continue our trip to the West part of Bali. A visit to the Taman Ayun Temple in Mengwi, continue the tour to Bedugul a mountain lake resort area. Due to its location of about 1,500 metres above the sea level, you can enjoy the alpine mountain weather there where vegetables, fruits and flowers grow in the alpine climate. Explore also the little market at Bukit Mengan and Lake Beratan which has a revered temple. We complete this tour with a visit of Tanah Lot templein Tabanan where you will see a magnificent sunset.

This dance was taken from the Hindu epic Ramayana and deals with the story of Prince Rama and Princess Sita, who has been kidnapped by the evil King of Lanka. A troupe of over 100 bare-chested men wear a black-white-checkered wrapped around skirt symbolize a mythological monkey army, helpers of prince Rama.  Those men serve as the chorus, doing a synchronized “chak-achak-achak” sound and are swaying their bodies and moving their hands. Other figures like monkey general Hanuman, eagle multiform gods Garuda, as well as opponent demon king Ravana, are a part of the Kecak dance.
